On Thursday evening, April 8, 2010, I had the privilege of videotaping the ribbon cutting ceremony of a new B&B in Newark, DE -- Blue Hen Bed & Breakfast, 1202 Nottingham Rd. Blue Hen B&B is owned and operated by Amy & Don Eschenbrenner and is the only B&B in Newark, DE.Originally built in 1692, this B&B is situated on the remaining 2 acres of land that was once part of a 255 acre farm. After completion of the new building addition in 1840, the Blue Hen offers 2 main guestrooms. A third guestroom is available as part of a Friends and Family discount Sharing Package. Pets are welcome.
