Andrew Markowitz, 12/19/09Saturday, December 19, 2009, the Delaware Valley was “clobbered” with a record large snowfall. It was recorded that Wilmington received approximately 17 inches. Another, more noteworthy, news item also took place, Andrew Markowitz’s Bar Mitzvah. The ceremony took place at Congregation Beth Emeth on Lea Blvd. with Rabbi Yair Robinson presiding.
Andrew, an avid Patriots fan, is the son of Jason & Elaine Markowitz of Wilmington, DE., and the brother of Becky Markowitz. The ceremony was attended by those who braved the wintery weather including grandparents, other family members, and friends.
