I taped a gospel choir on Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Twin Oaks, PA. A group of about 50 singers, 4 instrumentalists and about 200 guests attended. Concert selections included "He Carried The Cross", "He Can Fix What Is Broken", and "Rejoice". It was a most impressive concert. Here's a short clip from "He Carried The Cross".

A cast of about 13 people put on an amazing and fabulous show. The play was directed by Donchel Powell and music by John Washington. To view a short clip, click "Name It and Claim It".

I just got finished editing a short clip from the jazz recording session I videotaped Monday. My client, Northeastern Music Publications, Inc., Glenmoore, PA is adding 10 professional jazz pieces to their catalog. The recording session was produced by Dr. Randy Navarre and many of the tunes were written by Denis DiBlasio featuring solos by Larry McKenna, Bob Howell, Denis DiBlasio, and many others. What a great time I had. The filming was somewhat challenging given the size of the studio, 17 players all with instruments, stands, microphones, and me with 2 cameras and tri/monopods. Here's a edited version of "Got An Issue? Grab A Tissue" by Denis DiBlasio featuring Larry McKenna on Tenor Sax.

Ted Hegvik, New Holland Band, Lancaster PA

I filmed Ted Hegvik playing with the New Holland Band at the Lancaster Mennonite High School in Lancaster, PA on Sunday, March 14, 2011. He was featured on 3 solos both arranged by him; Fantaisie by Jules Demersseman and Valse Manzanetta & Saxophobia by Rudy Wiedoeft. Both were excellent as was the band. The New Holland Band is under the direction of Kenneth Laudermilch. What a great concert! Here's Valse Manzanetta & Saxophobia.
