On Saturday evening I had the distinct privilege of filming the 2013 Philadelphia Area Honor Band under the direction of Dr. Randy Navarre of Northeastern Music Programs. The concert was held at St. Mary's Hall, Villanova University. Northeastern Music Programs provides certified music teachers, both instrumental and classroom, to private and parochial schools throughout the Delaware Valley. Music selections included "Columbia, The Gem Of The Ocean", "Reflections On A Glass Castle", and "Viennese Sonatina No. 1". One of the selections Dr. Navarre conducted was "O Mio Babbino Caro" where Dr. Navarre only used body language to conduct the band.
